Write commentshi! Im here again, just surfin your site :)), I have a question though. Do you have any idea how to make a blogger template from scratch? Are there any computer apps out there that would make this possible? I'm planning to make my own blogger template as my current template is well, unoriginal(ive downloaded it in the internet). A lot of bloggers out there are using the template like mine, so I want to be original. ;))
ReplyThanks and more power to your blog/site!
Well of course it is possible, but just to give a different look, there's no need to start from completely scratch,
ReplyCreate a temporary blog, select WHITE MINIMA as it's template
and tweak it is much as possible (remember to add comments to every tweak in the template, so that you can modify and understand it better in future)
and yes there are come software for this, google for xml template editors/creator
2 software i know are these:
wblogger.txt.editor.exe
and
oxygen.exe
wow! thanks for the quick reply sir! it really feels good that someone online shares knowledge about this. :)
Replyto follow up a question, is "wblogger.txt.editor.exe" the exact name of the program?I cant seem to find it online ;)) it will be great if you could help me on this program's location :D
Anyway, i'll try the tip you told me here; i'll go tweak a MINIMA template for the time being :))
Thanks sir!
well actually, that wblogger, is not of any use to edit templates, it is for writing posts offline. So you can forget about it...
ReplyYou can try the tricks like adding widget etc on a minima, take help from other templates[pre-made]

ReplyMost of the sites I have come across want me to download the templates. I dont want to download anything due to my fear of computer viruses.
ReplyIf you want to learn swimming then you must jump in to the water first.

Hey.. I have a question. can I change my template on blogger with a picture that I upload?
ReplyHello. Question 1: How do I change my Blogger template which I've had for a year (www.ceresdoyo.com). Am using the the Rock my World template. Someone tweaked it for me to change the image and the dividers between blogs. Now I want to switch to the World Traveler template (also of Blogger). I use my blog to upload my articles. Am a journalist. Question 2:How do I switch to the new template? I can't seem to download it via win.rar. Question 3: How do I change the photos on top and the slide show? I'd appreciate your help.

Nice templates,
ReplyI have gradually become fan of your article and would like to suggest putting some new updates to make it more effective.
I do not like any mobile templates that I have tried. None of them seem to have a sidebar. My gadgets are important to my blog and I haven't found a mobile template that shows the sidebar. I have disabled the mobile view. Now I have embedded a video from a facebook site and it won't work on my galaxy tablet unless I allow mobile view. In regular view every time the video loads it closes my browser. The video works fine on my blog on my PC.
ReplyMy blog is saginawseries.blogspot.com and the video is Lights in the night Grand Rapids.
Any help would be appreciated.
