Fonts In BlogSpot/Blogger Blogs

You can use any font in your blog, but it's of no use if your readers do not have that particular font installed on their computers (as they will see that same text in their font i.e Arial/Times New Roman), for example:
If you use any XY font on your blog, which you have already installed in your computer (and was not supplied with your operating system - Windows XP/Vista), then, the blog when opened in your computer, the text will be displayed in that "XY" font,
but if your readers do not have installed the same "XY" font in their computers, then the same text (from your blog) will be displayed in some other default font like Arial or Times New Roman.

So to avoid these problems, you should usually use only those fonts, which are available with Windows XP/Vista/7.

As fonts available in Blogger are much less than those supplied with XP or Vista, so you can these additional fonts too:

Just use any of the codes above(in gray boxes) and replace the text (The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog) with your own content.

It’s a very nice bog. I have read all the post in this blog; it’s really interesting and informative. But I have some doubts about this matter. Since blog needs latest info, I humbly request the blog master to update this blog when ever gets time.
I shall link this blog from them. I think this blog needs that as this is very informative.

Good hint, but remember that there are OSes other than Windows. For example, more than half the fonts you listed above is not present in my mac .

None of these particular fonts are available on Linux due to their license. Also, people surf the net using cell phones and other non-PC devices today, so you can't rely on anything at all. You can specify Arial and friends if you like, but it's good practice to also specify a standard CSS font family (sans-serif, serif, monospace, cursive or fantasy) as a fallback ;)

Although you may use any of those fonts, described above in the post, but it would be better if you focus on those fonts suppported by Google-Web-Fonts:
