You can use any font in your blog, but it's of no use if your readers do not have that particular font installed on their computers (as they will see that same text in their font i.e Arial/Times New Roman), for example:
If you use any XY font on your blog, which you have already installed in your computer (and was not supplied with your operating system - Windows XP/Vista), then, the blog when opened in your computer, the text will be displayed in that "XY" font,
but if your readers do not have installed the same "XY" font in their computers, then the same text (from your blog) will be displayed in some other default font like Arial or Times New Roman.
So to avoid these problems, you should usually use only those fonts, which are available with Windows XP/Vista/7.
As fonts available in Blogger are much less than those supplied with XP or Vista, so you can these additional fonts too:

Write commentsHOW do I add this font code? Where am I supposed to put it?
ReplyThanks
Thanks for the post. Would you mind sharing what font you used for your own post? I rather like it and would love to add it to my own blog.
ReplyCheers.
Hi Barb
ReplyJust use any of the codes above(in gray boxes) and replace the text (The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog) with your own content.
Hello modernekklesia
I use the default font given by Blogger, which is Times New Roman(or simply Times).
Regards
Sai
And Barb,
Replyyou have to use this code, while writing any new post (for the whole post or for any particular section of the post like a paragraph)
like this:
<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Hello guys this is my first post in a new font...</span>
It’s a very nice bog. I have read all the post in this blog; it’s really interesting and informative. But I have some doubts about this matter. Since blog needs latest info, I humbly request the blog master to update this blog when ever gets time.
ReplyI shall link this blog from them. I think this blog needs that as this is very informative.
Thanks lot
Good hint, but remember that there are OSes other than Windows. For example, more than half the fonts you listed above is not present in my mac .
ReplyThanks Franko for your appreciation...
Reply@Nirmal
Thanks for adding that point....
BTW, do you mean that mac doesn't have some of the first 9 fonts (which are present as default in blogger) ?
do you know how to add Segoe UI to blog ?
ReplyWell if I am not wrong, they are licensed to MS, and are available commercially...so donno how many ppl will be using it !
ReplyNone of these particular fonts are available on Linux due to their license. Also, people surf the net using cell phones and other non-PC devices today, so you can't rely on anything at all. You can specify Arial and friends if you like, but it's good practice to also specify a standard CSS font family (sans-serif, serif, monospace, cursive or fantasy) as a fallback ;)
ReplyThanks for adding the useful information Dennis...
ReplyI use Arial and Trebuchet, which till now I have liked the most. Cool idea of changing it, thanks :)
ReplyAva.

Replyi cant't face or overcome this problem from months

can i use it in my blogger without any problems ?
there is any additional steps ?
Although you may use any of those fonts, described above in the post, but it would be better if you focus on those fonts suppported by Google-Web-Fonts:
