Have You Googled Your Name ?

Recently I have written an article on how to optimize your blog, so as to display it in Google search results whenever someone searches your name. Although I still prefer the same method, but here's another method for those of you who like to select the easy way or who are not in to blogging.
You simply have to create a Google Profile, and leave rest of the work to Google. Make sure that you have included everything in the profile page that you want to share with others. Now Google will of course index the profile page, and it will be displayed every time someone searches for you (you have to enable the option to share your profile with others).
I am calling this method as 'easy' because firstly you need not create a blog for this purpose and secondly Google being far more popular any other blog, profiles directly from Google will be given more priority than other blogs.

Here's what Google says about this new feature:
To give you greater control over what people find when they search for your name, we've begun to show Google profile results at the bottom of U.S. name-query search pages. These results offer abbreviated information from user-created Google profiles and a link to the full profiles. We've also added links so it's easy to search for the same name on MySpace, Facebook, Classmates and LinkedIn.
