Instructions to add similar xmas icons to your blog:

STEP #1
Log in to Blogger, and go to Layout

STEP #2
Now click on "Add a Gadget" and select it as "HTML/JavaScript" type.

STEP #3
Leave the title field empty and paste this code in to the content part:
<!--XMAS-ICONS-STARTS--><a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:-3px;right:-2px;" href="#" title="Happy Christmas"><img width="100" src="http://files.main.bloggerstop.net/uploads/3/0/2/5/3025338/3428093.png"/></a>
<a style="display:scroll;position:fixed;top:-3px;left:-2px;" href="#" title="Happy Christmas"><img width="100" src="http://files.main.bloggerstop.net/uploads/3/0/2/5/3025338/4565148.png"/></a>
<!--XMAS-ICONS-STOPS-HELP-http://bloggerstop.net-->
To use icons other than those used in the code above, replace the links in RED color with the direct links (see below) of your desired icons. Remember to change the width the of the icons to fit them well in your blog without disturbing other content of the blog.
The code highlighted in blue is to adjust the position of the icons, use other numbers like -3, -5, -10 etc. to understand how you can change the position of the icons.
You may delete the position:fixed; element from the code too.

It's about a script that let's you use emoticons (Like the ones in Wordpress), so if you could post it.. I made the traduction LOL.. Take a look..

See ya Divya :)

Hey, this can be great if you know how to change your background too. Can you add a tutorial how to change background with snowflakes effect?

@Reza,
Actually I already have a post on how to change the background and then the other one on adding snowflakes, but couldn't get your point of combining these two...can you please elaborate on this...

@Daniel
First of all nice cat (in your sidebar) and that santas' hat in your logo looks really cool :)
Regarding those new icons, I tried that script in my FF 3.5.5 but I couldn't see any icons in either www.blogger.com or draft.blogger.com
I never mind adding add-ons to my previous tutorials, but I usually prefer tricks/hacks that will work in almost all browsers. I think there's another similar hack too, but I don't remember the blog where I saw it :|

@Divya: Well, I think that's because they appear in the second option of writing posts..

There are 2 modes (I think), one to see the HTML tags, and the other is the "Preview" mode to see the working tags (In spanish is "Redactar", so I think in English would be something as "Redact")

Those icons only appear in the "Preview mode"

Tell me if works :D

BTW: If you prefer on not to post it, it's ok, just wanna tell you xD
